A little about me . . .

With a background in finance, a Bachelor's degree in English, a student of Architecture and a flair for all the creative arts, I think you can safely say that I'm not your ordinary designer. When I can't see all of the 'big picture,' I tend to draw the picture to fit what I know - and work out from there.

How best to introduce myself? Well, in short, I'm not your average designer. With over a decade's worth of business (primarily financial) experience, I know more about standard office and client relations than many businessmen. And while I am ambitious about the world of business (ask me about my future educational goals), I am even more passionate about creative design. To me, there are few things quite so satisfying as a well-rendered 3-d model, an awesome programmatic layout or even just a discussion about the 'what ifs' in the world of architecture and design.

I find myself constantly able to engage even the most uninterested parties when it comes to my life's goals: design, business and, above all, the concept of 'creation.' And while I may not be alone in my joy in these topics, I decided to take this joy one step further. I quit my job after being accepted into grad school. Sure, this wasn't easy (nerve-wracking is more like it), but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

So there you have it - at least a bit. I'm a bit of a risk-taker, a lot of a designer and a person who looks forward to utilizing my unique experiences and skills for the betterment of my community.

I shall be telling this with a sigh

                           Somewhere ages and ages hence

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,

I took the ones less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.
